iPod Trouble!

My iPod and iTunes don't get along anymore. ;_________;

I downloaded and installed the "latest version of iTunes" that you'll get every so once in a while, and when my iPod was restarting... well, actually, when my iPod was trying to connect with iTunes again, the following message popped up:

"The iPod "LIBBY'S iPOD" is not compatible with iTunes because it requires iTunes 7.6 or later. Please go to [link] to download the newest version of iTunes."

Newest version my ass! I just uploaded/downloaded/installed the version into my computer~! And I was gonna add more LM.C and MUCC and Muse and such to my iPod nano, too! ;_______;

Ah well, if I can't get a new version of iTunes pop-up window thing tomorrow and fix it, I'll edit this journal and ask everyone for their help, but if you'd help me out by leaving a comment, that would be great, thank you.
